Dua Lipa has unveiled the first official photos of the custom Chanel Haute Couture gown she wore for her wedding celebration in Sicily with Callum Turner.
The dress, designed by Chanel creative director Matthieu Blazy, featured a dramatic low-back silhouette, a sweeping feathered train, and an embellished veil. According to fashion reports, the gown incorporated approximately 480,000 hand-embroidered beads and 25,000 feathers, making it one of the most elaborate celebrity bridal looks of the year.
The newly released photos show the couple during their main wedding ceremony at Villa Valguarnera, where they celebrated with family and friends following a private civil wedding in London on May 31.
Fashion publications noted that the gown was handcrafted in Chanel’s Paris ateliers and paired with custom white satin shoes and a long embroidered veil. The reveal came after weeks of speculation, as earlier photos from the wedding weekend had only shown Lipa’s other bridal looks, including a feathered Bottega Veneta dress for a welcome party and a lace Chloé outfit for a post-wedding brunch.
