Kyle Busch’s wife posts emotional Father’s Day tribute to NASCAR driver after his death: ‘Still doesn’t feel real’

Samantha Busch shared an emotional Father’s Day tribute to her late husband, NASCAR star Kyle Busch, just one month after his death at age 41.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Samantha wrote that Father’s Day was especially painful because it was the first one without him. She admitted that his absence remains difficult to comprehend, saying, “It still doesn’t feel real.” She accompanied the message with a video montage of Kyle spending time with their children, Brexton and Lennix.

Samantha remembered Kyle as a devoted, hands-on father who was deeply involved in his children’s lives and never missed an opportunity to support them. She reflected on staying awake the night before Father’s Day thinking about how different the day should have been and mentioned that the children’s Father’s Day cards had already been made before his death.

She also promised to keep Kyle’s memory alive for their children by sharing stories about him and helping them pursue their dreams, including their son Brexton’s interest in racing.

Kyle Busch died on May 21 after severe pneumonia progressed to sepsis, a loss that shocked the NASCAR community and prompted tributes from fellow drivers, fans, and racing organizations.
